However, given that so many of us are still working remotely, a printer is an essential bit of kit for any home office. Black Friday deals offer an opportunity to save a few pounds on printers, which you can then spend on something a little more exciting.
There are plenty of offers still available today and these are expected continue throughout to Cyber Monday 2021 tomorrow. AO, Very and Currys have launched their deals, and there are significant discounts at The Cartridge People, Ryman, and Canon.
So if you’re looking for a new printer, you’re in the right place. We’ll be scouring the web to bring you the best home printer deals this Black Friday weekend.

What’s the deal: save 20% on an already low-price all-in-one printer, rated 3.5 out 5. It’s also covered by HP’s Instant Ink subscription, so you can save on running costs too.
Why we chose it: This was the best value all-in-one printer in our best printer round-up. It can print photos onto glossy paper straight from your phone, as well as handling more everyday printing, scanning and copying. Though it’s not speedy enough for big jobs, it takes up very little desk space considering all its functions.
What’s the deal: Save nearly £30 on this printer, complete with an Ink Multipack worth £63.49. Though it’s temporarily out of stock, you can still place orders to be fulfilled in a few days at the discounted price.
Why we chose it: On test we found that this is the best printer for families. It excels at printing high-quality photos, documents and copies in big volumes and very quickly. It’s a perfect printer for busy families needing last minute documents as they dash out of the door to work and school. With its big touchscreen, it’s a breeze for all ages to use, too.
Our technology experts have reviewed a number of printers. Here’s a reminder of our selection of the best printers:
While a few of these are now out of stock, our best printer guide is still well worth a read for deciding which brand has the most cost-effective ink and understanding other key considerations when choosing a printer. Spoiler: don’t forget to consider the cost-per-page of a printer and not just the upfront cost.
When choosing a printer, there are variables to consider. How large do you need it to be? Is a simple A4 printer enough, or do you need something with a scanner that can print in larger sizes? Will you prioritise print quality or economical running? All of these questions are important to consider before purchasing a printer.
It’s also good to set a budget once you know the specs you need. This will help to guide your search during today’s Black Friday rush and help you stay on track.
