We have had to say goodbye to several restaurants around Twin Falls this year, and other businesses. But we are excited for all the new things coming to Twin Falls in 2022.
We are eagerly awaiting the opening of Nara Ramen and Sushi. Located where Costa Vida used to be, they have been under construction for a while now. Originally they were hoping to be open by December 2021, but delays caused it to be closer to the beginning of 2022. Either way, we can't wait.
Redhawk is a new and revamped restaurant at Canyon Crest Event Center. The eating area has been redone to be a gastropub. The new menu is already looking fantastic and there will be plenty of beer on tap. Hoping that this place opens the beginning of 2022.
Technically this place is operational. The distillery is bottling vodka and gin as we speak. However, in the future, they will have a sipping room and an area for people to host parties. It is unclear at this point whether or not they will serve food.
The Southern Idaho Reptile Rescue is planning to open a reptile zoo in the Magic Valley Mall. The rescue hopes the zoo will help educate people on these creatures and potentially double as a way to get rescued reptiles a home.
Old Navy is officially returning to Twin Falls. It will be located by Habit Burger and Dick's Sporting Goods. The building is under construction right now.
More housing is a good thing. Right now there are new apartment complexes under construction in Downtown Twin Falls. It is looking like Downtown is going to be a hopping place for the younger crowd.
Downtown is in desperate need of more parking. I am pretty sure parking is an issue in every single Downtown in every city. There is more parking under construction as well.
Is there anything we missed? We are looking for more great things coming this way next year.
